Goody Day Healthy Eaters & Happy Monday!!! Today's Focus is about Eating Clean to Get lean!! Everyone is guilty (I'm sure) of trying something fast to get quicker results and not being able to stick with whatever it might have been, only to feel down & coming to the "What is the Point" resolution! This is the "All or Nothing" approach that we have nailed ourselves with only to have more Nothing than All!!! Lets take a break from the Negative beat down and try a more positive approach! The operative word is TRY!!! When I decided to educate myself on what I was putting in my body! I took some things out, for me, it was what & flour products. When I did such, I begin to flock to AND ACTUALLY want healthier foods!!! I believe its because flour & wheat products are basically sugar once you digest it and when you eat sugar, you CRAVE sugar and end up eating it an all forms (not just cakes, pies, and candy) but the fried foods covered in sugary flour or the breads and pastries and pasta's which all convert to sugar once you swallow them (by the way)! I begin to keep a food journal in a small notebook, this helped me to track what I was eating just for my own sake, no to judge myself but just to see. I noticed the veggies and fruit went up and the craving for almond joys went down!!! Give yourself a shot, Clean up your habits a little bit and try to eat foods that come out of the ground and have little to no chemicals in them to make them. You will amaze yourself what you will naturally start to want to eat!!! I hope this helps, Love ya:)
