Each One Teach One....Eat Healthy For You, Eat Healthy for Others!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!!!! Happy Saturday!!! Did you know that you are not alone? You have people watching you everyday to see your every move, these people are called your Family & Friends!!! Are you familiar with them? This is your moment to set an example, this is your moment to show them how to be generational trendsetters!!! Child Obesity should not exist neither should adult obesity! Hear on earth we are given fresh foods to eat and drink, its what we are choosing that is our downfall. Inconvenience is not reason not to eat healthy, its an excuse to eat UNHEALTHY!! I keep oranges and apples in my house because I love to have a sweet "something" after my meals, I chose to keep those and not M&M's because I find that what I have around me, I will eat. I suggests you surround yourself with real food! Real Food that comes from soil and animals! Allow your body to get used to eating foods that don't come from a fryer and foods that are not wrap in sugar addicting flour:( Take a trip to your grocery store and see how many fresh items you can place in your buggy, if you see yourself reaching for processed food, walk around to see what fresh food is closest to that "unhealthy processed food" and chose the fresh instead! Clean Up Your Dirty Ways!!!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!!! Happy Wednesday!!! Today's Focus is about making the change, but keeping the taste!!! When you think of the word "Diet" what comes to your mind? Loss of fun food? Deprivation? Can't have my piece of cake?....lol....Well You can stop moping and make a Lifestyle Change instead of Dieting!!! Take your "Bad food's" and tuuuurn them "Good" NO, Not with a magic wand but with a Replacement Wand!!!! Take your unhealthiest of habits and Replace them with foods that are healthier and can give the same satisfaction! For example, I user Lettuce leaves to make my chicken sandwiches or Turkey burger sandwiches instead "Sugar raising" Breads!!! Replace those processed carbs (chips, cookies, or fries) with veggies and/or fruits as your sides!!! Include Fruits & veggies at every meal!!! Want to Learn How to Eat More Fruits & Veggies!! ADD MORE!!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!!! Happy Tuesday!!! Today's Focus is Less Bad, More Good....Do you have that want to eat better and Clean up your Habits, well Do I have a solution for you!! If you want to eat more fruits and veggies, then ADD MORE to your meals!!! We take the simplest of problems and complicate them, but why when you don't have to! If you want to eat more natural sugars instead of processed sugars, then start adding more to your day. I eat veggies morning, noon and night, no not because I'm a trainer but because I wanted to incorporate more healthy food items into my daily eating habits!!! For example, when I eat breakfast in the mornings, I add an apple or a "baby orange"...lol...thats why I call them at least!! Next my snack might be an apple and a piece of protein, which you need whenever you eat (protein). My lunch today is a turkey burger patty with a side salad with tomatoes and another orange, sometimes I add cashews but I'm having problems with them lately. I have baked chicken for tonight with green beans and sliced tomatoes and sliced apple's with a sprinkle of cinnamon for dessert!!!! See how easy that was, all it takes is creativity!!! Personally, I leave the carbs out because of a personal choice. I hope this helps! Love ya:)

Don't Give Up....Replace!!!!!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!! Too many people begin and end their journey in the same place, they give up once the bump in the road is hit. Small Steps equate to Big Change but one must continue to make small steps and not back up when the hill gets a little steep.....Step over that hill and continue moving forward. There is no right or wrong when you continue to walk, its all about the direction that you decide to go. Don't give up....Replace! Make a grocery list of your normal foods and beverages that you eat and drink, then make a separate list that notes how you will replace some of those foods on your list that are not taking you in the direction of healthy eating....For example, If you write down on your first list a bag of chips....on your healthy grocery list, write down a replacement that you KNOW you will eat. I like to eat fruit with my turkey sandwich instead of chips. I cut up fresh strawberries and sweet melons and replace chips with a fruit salad.

Try, Try, And Try Again!! This is your Health We are talking about!!
Goody Day Healthy Eaters & Happy Monday!!! Today's Focus is about Eating Clean to Get lean!! Everyone is guilty (I'm sure) of trying something fast to get quicker results and not being able to stick with whatever it might have been, only to feel down & coming to the "What is the Point" resolution! This is the "All or Nothing" approach that we have nailed ourselves with only to have more Nothing than All!!! Lets take a break from the Negative beat down and try a more positive approach! The operative word is TRY!!! When I decided to educate myself on what I was putting in my body! I took some things out, for me, it was what & flour products. When I did such, I begin to flock to AND ACTUALLY want healthier foods!!! I believe its because flour & wheat products are basically sugar once you digest it and when you eat sugar, you CRAVE sugar and end up eating it an all forms (not just cakes, pies, and candy) but the fried foods covered in sugary flour or the breads and pastries and pasta's which all convert to sugar once you swallow them (by the way)! I begin to keep a food journal in a small notebook, this helped me to track what I was eating just for my own sake, no to judge myself but just to see. I noticed the veggies and fruit went up and the craving for almond joys went down!!! Give yourself a shot, Clean up your habits a little bit and try to eat foods that come out of the ground and have little to no chemicals in them to make them. You will amaze yourself what you will naturally start to want to eat!!! I hope this helps, Love ya:)

Small Steps or Big Steps,,,,,,Just take them!!!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!! Happy Thursday of this Beautiful New Year!!! Today's focus is to acknowledge the inner strength that you have inside of you to get your mind and body just the way you want it be High school sexy or fit as a fiddle!!! Look at how you are feeding yourself and self-check items that you can improve on!!! If you are a sugar fanatic, keep the sugar but lower the grams!!! There are sugar-free chocolates and jello's and health bar's like the KIND Bars Almond/Coconut is my favorite, it gives me the right amount of sweet to cool my sweet beast or LARABAR snacks!! I have been on a No wheat, No Flour, Little potato kick for a minute and I am enjoying it!!!! My craving's quickly going away and so is any weight that I wanted to lose! Yes trainers like to keep their weight done too!..lol....Check out Wheat Belly by William Davis, MD!!!! Great Book and very extraordinary information that could help with not only weight loss but a host of different things!!!! Remember to educate your mind about your body!!!! I hope this helps!! Happy New Year, Smaller New You!!!
Good Day Healthy Eaters!!! Happy New Year!!! Are you ready for a smaller New You?? You can have this as well as a Healthier New You starting right now!!!! What you need is a mentality check, its starts in the mind!!! The simple thing about losing weight(Yes there is a simple part to it) is that you can think your way into a healthy meal and out of an unhealthy one! Simply putting in nutritious calories (fruits, veggies, and healthy protein) and getting rid of empty calories ( cakes, breads, pasta's, & sugar). In small steps, you can add veggies to every meal and keep your carb intake low, especially if you are not active because carbs are energy and have to be burned off. There is a great book that I have always had in my possession, it's called the "No Flour, No Sugar diet" you can google it to find out the author. It basically explains how the little things we see as harmless i.e. salad dressing, ketchup, bread, jelly, pasta and other examples are the cause of extra empty calories in our eating habits!!! I strongly suggest you pick up this book! Lest we not forget how strength training, plyometrics, functional full body exercises help to sculpt the body into the figure that you want to and CAN HAVE!!!!
