Good Day Healthy Eaters!!! Today's Focus is Challenging you inner voice!! When learning a new behavior, one should start at the bottom and work your way up! The bottom would be the bad eating habits and working your way up is your daily mental workout! You can say to yourself " Yes I could eat this, but how can I make this even healthier" You can start with something as simple as a doughnut!!! Yes you could eat a doughnut but what could I eat that would be healthier & yet give me the same or better satisfaction?? Peanut butter crackers, apples slices with peanut butter or nut butter, peanut butter on wheat toast, sugar free pudding or jello, or low fat yogurt!!! Always Think Ahead!!! We have instant urges and pick the unhealthier choice when you can T.Y.M.T (Think Your Meal Through) and make a healthier decision and get a the same satisfaction!!! Remember when you are making baby steps, celebrate your accomplishments!!! When you have made a healthier choice, acknowledge this and remember you can do this with every snack or meal!!! Challenge yourself, to eat little to no carbs during the evening, but T.Y.M.T first that way, you can start with a base meal, look at your protein and sides, see if they are not the healthiest of choices, what you can do tho make them healthier and in turn learning by practice, how you can LEARN how to eat healthier instead of cutting off only to learn nothing from the experience!
